Webinar Online Compatibility With Your Environment

Healthcare Web Summit webinars typically use Accuconference's Web Conferencing facility.  The web conference application (to view speakers advancing the slides, participate in live chat for question and answer session, etc) is easy-to-use and requires absolutely no software to install! As long as you have access to the Internet, you can access the web conference facility!

What if I am behind a Firewall or experience other Webinar Security and Technical issues?

  • The Accuconference Web Conference facility uses port 80 for your connection.
  • If for any reason you experience technical difficulties accessing the online Web Conference facility, we do provide a link to the pdf version of the presentation at all times with your dial-in instructions so that you still have access to the presentation while participating via the phone for the audio portion of the conference.

If your Internet access is behind a firewall and/or you are concerned about accessing the web conference for any reason, we strongly encourage you to log into the Webinar portion of the event in advance of the scheduled start time, using the instructions to “access the Webinar Portion," which will be included with your dial-in instructions sent 1-2 business days before each event.

Once you’ve logged in, you will see a light in the tiny box in the lower right hand corner of the presentation screen (note, there may be a delay of several seconds to see the light). If the light is Green, then your computer is receiving data properly. If the light is flashing, then your computer is in the process of receiving data. However, if the light in the tiny box is RED, then this is an indication that your computer is having trouble loading the speaker presentation. If this occurs, place your cursor over this tiny box and you will see a message: “Connection light; Click to transmit debug information.” If this occurs, please click to send the debug information to the webinar conferencing facility's technical specialist and then contact them directly at 1.800.989.9239 to troubleshoot your connection problem.
