Podcast Support |
Podcasts involve recorded interviews with
faculty regarding their presentation subject matter, that average around five
minutes in length. The Podcasts are audio files that can be downloaded
from the Podcast menu page, or can optionally be delivered through your RSS feed
reader and Podcast software. The audio files are provided in mp3 format,
and can be downloaded and listened to with your PDA, iPod, or mp3 player, or
through your desktop or laptop computer.
To listen to the Podcasts, you can:
- Simply click the link to each Podcast from the
Podcast Menu page, and the audio file will begin to download and play from
your computer's applicable media player.
- Using the media player that activates when you
click the above link, you can also choose to save the audio file to listen
to later or on another device. For example, if you use Windows Media Player
you would select "Copy to CD or device" from the Media Player
menu.
- If you have already downloaded Podcast
software, You can click the RSS button from the Podcast menu to
automatically add the Podcasts to your designated download location.
- If you don't already have Podcast Software and
want to use that feature, you can Click
here to go to the iPodder download page to download Podcast software
should you want RSS notification when new Podcasts are available and
download them through iPodder.
