Overview
Making shopping for healthcare plans as easy as possible for consumers is a cornerstone of health insurance reform. For the public exchanges, improving site usability will increase enrollments. For private insurers, improving user experience will increase market share.

Find out how the public exchanges and private health insurance sites compare for usability, engagement and their likelihood to convert shoppers into buyers. Based on consumer research that combines quantitative and qualitative data, this session will look at best practices, common problems, and trends for healthcare and health insurance sites in the coming year.

Change Science's research compares the experience of shopping for health insurance on selected health insurance web sites. Public exchanges and private health insurance sites were compared for usability, engagement and their likelihood to convert shoppers into buyers. This research has been the first of its kind to provide rigorous user experience benchmarks on both private and public exchanges, and provides a framework for comparing how people currently experience the sites along with a set of metrics to track performance over time.

Please join Change Science's Pamela Pavliscak on Thursday, February 27th, 2014 at 1PM Eastern as she addresses their innovative research findings, and implications for stakeholders in the new public and private health insurance exchange environment.
