Sander is Mercer’s National Practice
Leader for Consumerism within the Health Care & Group Benefits
business, specializing in emerging benefits and areas where technology
intersects with human resources, benefits, and health care. Areas of
focus include health care strategy, consumer directed health care,
health and benefits decision support tools, web health resources, HR
portals and online benefits. Sander’s prior experience includes
project management in the Health & Group Benefits Delivery Services
group at Hewitt Associates for flexible benefits administration
outsourcing. Sander holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical
Engineering from San Diego State University, a Masters degree in
Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a certificate
in Human Resources Management from Cornell. |

Benjamin Isgur, Assistant Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers' Health Research Institute
- Ben is the Assistant Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP's Health Research Institute. His specialties include thought leadership, strategic planning, and legislative and policy analysis. Much of his work focuses on research and industry intelligence. His previous experience includes being a founding Principle in the Brazos Partnership, a legislative procedure consulting firm, working in Government Relations for the City of Austin and as a Legislative Director in the Texas House of Representatives, where he was responsible for communicating with elected officials and advancing a highly technical legislative program. |

A. Mark Fendrick, MD, Co-Director, Center for Value-Based Insurance
Design, University of Michigan is a Professor of Internal Medicine in the School of Medicine and a Professor of Health Management and Policy in the School of Public Health at the University of Michigan. Dr. Fendrick received a bachelor’s degree in economics and chemistry from University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Fendrick completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Pennsylvania where he was a fellow in the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholars Program. He currently directs the Health Services Research Core Laboratory and is Co-director of the recently established Center for Value-Based Insurance Design at the University of Michigan. |

Teri Olivier, Strategic Consultant, Clinical Programs, Humana, Inc. – Teri is a national product manager and subject expert for Virgin HealthMiles, an activity-based health rewards program. As a consultant to Humana's field representatives for 3.2 million lives, she has supported the launch of more than 100,000 employees across the nation, for more than 20 employers. In 2006, as a member of Humana's Innovation Center, Teri worked with teams from Virgin and Humana to introduce HealthMiles to the U.S. market with a focus on driving individual and organizational engagement and change. |
