The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently proposed a series of new marketing and sales standards for Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug plans. It's likely these new rules will be ready for implementation for the upcoming open enrollment period. This means significant new compliance challenges and pressure to rethink approaches to sales and marketing.

Individual Registration Fee: $225. Audio Conference CD-ROM: $40 for attendees; $285 for non-attendees after the event.
Corporate Site licensing also available. Click here to register or call 209.577.4888.

Are you ready for:

  • Prohibition on "cold-calling"

  • Restrictions on broker-agent commissions to make them level across first and subsequent years

  • End of cross-selling non-health care-related products to MA or Part D prospects

  • Ban on sales activities at health fairs, community meetings or patient waiting areas

  • No sales presentations that involve an offer of free meals

  • New fines for MA plans of up to $25,000 for each enrollee adversely affected

These are just a few of the proposed rules that will affect marketing plans, distribution outlets, call center telesales and overall plan compliance. Your analysis and interpretation of the impact on your MA plans and PDPs can't wait. October's just around the corner.

This Webinar will discuss interpretations and implications of these new rules. This practical, issue-driven forum will help participants as they consider their compliance readiness, marketing strategy and call center distribution channels.

Three industry leaders will guide the discussion
