Arnold Milstein, MD, MPH, is Medical Director of the Pacific Business Group on Health (PBGH), the largest healthcare purchasers coalition in the U.S. He is also National Healthcare Thought Leader at William M. Mercer. He has had an active academic and medical career focused on improving healthcare programs for large purchasers, providers, and government. He has published numerous articles and book chapters addressing healthcare program design. He is a member of National Committee for Quality Assurance’s national committee to develop HEDIS, and a co-founder of The Leapfrog Group. |

Lindsay Resnick recently joined Finelight Strategic Marketing Communications as senior vice president of business development. Prior to joining Finelight, Resnick was chief marketing officer of HealthMarket, a leading consumer-driven health plan. Previously, he was president of Radix Health Connection, LLC, a specialized investment banking firm serving health insurance companies and managed care plans. Lindsay also led a national consulting practice focused on health insurance mergers and acquisitions, marketing and sales. He was a senior officer of Celtic Life Insurance for nine years and held management positions at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. |

Henry R. Loubet is Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President for Keenan. Mr. Loubet brings more than 20 years experience in top executive level healthcare to his role with Keenan. He will be focusing on developing creative and solid strategies for Keenan’s consumer driven healthcare
(CDHP) initiative, along with other executive responsibilities. Mr. Loubet is well respected in the healthcare industry for his executive leadership at some of the country’s most highly regarded organizations, including
UnitedHealthcare, Health Net, and Drug Emporium. |
The session will include a brief introduction on where Consumer Driven Care is headed for 2004 by Moderator Henry Loubet. Dr. Arnold Milstein will provide a 15 minute presentation on the Employer Agenda for Consumer Driven Care for 2004; followed by Lindsay Resnick's 15 minute presentation on the Consumer Driven Plan Agenda for 2004. Moderator Henry Loubet will then facilitate dialogue between the two faculty, plus field questions from attendees.
