Lindsay Resnick; Chief Marketing Officer

The landscape is changing! New products, new business partners and new health care delivery systems are complicating traditional approaches to health insurance. And as competition intensifies, topline growth for health plans won't come easy. Health insurance companies own banks, and banks have healthcare business units. Retail stores have medical clinics and, technological advances mean customer communication is more and more complex. It used to be that cost, quality and choice drove business decisions. Today, inside health plans it's just as common to hear terms such as convergence, consumerism and confidentiality. This session will explore the "state-of-the-state" inside the health insurance sector by examining external pressures, competitive landscape and critical business trends.

An interview with Mr. Resnick is available as a downloadable podcast
