The changing landscape created by the advent of HSAs and other CDH offerings has generated alliances between insurance companies, banks, back-office processing companies, marketing and portal providers and TPAs. Created with much fanfare and promising to deliver big numbers with nominal marketing effort, alliances were seen as the major sales vehicle for insurance and bank institutions vis-à-vis HSAs and other CDH offerings.
Some alliances have been quite successful. Other joint programs have failed to generate the expected numbers. This audio conference will examine the factors contributing to the success and/or failure of CDH alliances.

The panelists bring an outsiders' objectivity combined with inside information on what has happen and what is expected to happen as new alliances form, and older relationships evolve. Why and what this means for the future growth of HSAs and other CDH products and services is discussed by a unique team of industry observers. In many cases, alliances have failed to take in or understand the consumer's expectations or needs.
Panelists will share some proprietary research data on consumer reaction to alliance offerings.
Also addressed is the growing interest by healthcare providers in alliances of various sorts to offset possible declines in revenue attendant to CDH growth. Experts disagree as to whether this is a viable strategy but it is being discussed and panelists have some thoughts and suggestions for those examining this approach.
