Ashley Gillihan is a member of the Firm's Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Group, and is a partner in the firm in the Atlanta office Mr. Gillihan's practice focuses exclusively on health and welfare benefit plan matters where he advises clients on various issues including, but not limited to, tax qualification issues arising under the Internal Revenue Code, ERISA reporting, disclosure, COBRA and fiduciary issues and HIPAA portability and privacy. Mr. Gillihan lectures frequently and has published many articles on health and welfare benefit plan compliance topics. He is also on the Advisory Board of Editors of Benefits Compensation Law Alert. Mr. Gillihan is a member of the state bars of Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama. He is a 1996 graduate of Samford University's Cumberland School of Law.

Mr. Riddle is President of MCOL, He has become a prominent national thought leader and speaker on emerging managed care and health plan trends, particularly with issues relating to health care consumerism. Mr Riddle has authored a number of popular books, e-learning software and reports relating to managed care and consumerism during his tenure at MCOL. He has also overseen the company's growth from its original on-line membership service to now also include a number of additional divisions. A 25 year veteran of the healthcare and managed care industry, Riddle has held a variety of high-level leadership positions including 12 years as Chief Executive Officer of a regional hospital owned managed care organization in California. Prior to that, Mr. Riddle held positions of increasing responsibility for the same hospital system. Throughout
his career, Mr. Riddle has been an active participant on numerous
community and professional boards of directors.
He currently serves on the board of directors for several
for-profit, private health-related corporations. |
